Variant-heavy catalogs
Color, size, wattage, flavor. When theme filters run out of road, a shopper types something comfortable for work and Nola comes back with what exists and is in stock.
NOLA AI FOR SHOPIFY
THEME APP BLOCK · READ-ONLY ON PRODUCTS AND INVENTORY · BILLED THROUGH SHOPIFY
Nola AI is a sales assistant for Shopify that reads what a shopper is actually asking for and answers with products from your live catalog. It goes in as a theme app block — you switch it on in the theme editor, and nothing gets pasted into your theme files.
Getting set up
You approve read access to products and inventory. Order and customer permissions are never requested, so installing does not open up your data.
In the theme editor, add the Nola block, choose where it sits and save. No snippet to paste into theme.liquid, no template to edit.
The first sync runs right after install and takes seconds to a few minutes, depending on catalog size. After that you can talk to Nola on your own storefront.
Permissions
The app asks for read access to products and inventory. That is the whole list. It is a scope decision, not a roadmap gap — and when you uninstall, the block leaves with the app and your theme is exactly as it was.
Titles, descriptions, variants, prices, images and stock levels. Every recommendation comes from there. It never invents a product, a price or a delivery date, and it says so when it has to relax a filter.
Those permissions are never requested on Shopify. When a shopper asks about one specific order, Nola says a person needs to take over and hands the conversation to your team.
No product, price, inventory level or order is ever created or edited, and payments are never touched. Nola builds the cart in the conversation and hands the shopper to your own Shopify checkout.
IN PRACTICE
Color, size, wattage, flavor. When theme filters run out of road, a shopper types something comfortable for work and Nola comes back with what exists and is in stock.
People landing from an ad rarely search. One plain sentence gets them to the right product, with price, photo and link.
Shipping, delivery times and returns come from the policies you load as the knowledge base, not from guesswork. When the question is about a specific order, the conversation goes to a person.
With nobody on the queue, the conversation happens anyway. Next morning it is all in the dashboard: visitor timeline, a four-stage funnel, recurring questions and leads.
BEFORE YOU INSTALL
No. After installing, you add the Nola block in the theme editor, place it and save. There is no snippet to paste and no theme file to touch.
Nothing. Because it is a theme app block, it disappears with the app and leaves no orphaned code behind. Your store data is deleted within 30 days of uninstalling.
Billing is processed by Shopify, as required for apps published on the App Store, and the charges show up on your store invoice. We never collect payment details. Plans and prices are shown when you subscribe, and the 14-day trial needs no card.
Not on Shopify. The app requests no order or customer permissions. It answers shipping, delivery and return questions from your store policies, and passes anything about a specific order to a person.
It says so instead of guessing. The conversation moves to the live queue in the dashboard, inside the support hours you set, and you can also route the shopper to WhatsApp.
No credit card. Install, switch the block on in the theme editor and watch Nola sell from your own catalog. If it does not fit, uninstall and your theme is untouched.
